Axioma understands that the use of any personal data is confidential, and, for this reason, we are subject to the highest standards of information security, privacy management and personal data protection.

The personal data we use is for clearly identified purposes and in accordance with data protection rights. The confidentiality and integrity of personal data are part of our information security policy.

This Privacy Policy establishes how Axioma uses the personal data of its employees, customers, suppliers and other third parties, within the scope of its activity.

This Privacy Policy may, at any time, be subject to review and change, with such changes being duly disclosed and communicated on the Axioma website.

Personal Data

Personal data corresponds to any information, in relation to an identified or identifiable natural person, of any nature and regardless of the type of support.

An identifiable person is considered to be a person who can be identified directly and indirectly, especially by reference to an identification number or to one or more specific elements of their physical, physiological, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity.

Through this website, and depending on the purpose of data collection, the following personal information may be collected: (i) name, (ii) company represented, (iii) contacts (email and telephone) and (iv) information or messages necessary and relevant to evaluate the availability of more information or for subsequent direct contact.

Personal Data Controller

Axioma – Back Office Services, Lda., legal entity number 502 996 293, is the entity responsible for collecting and processing personal data for the purposes indicated below.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data

The collection and processing of personal data on the Axioma website is intended solely and exclusively for sending, after the user’s express request, service proposals and/or quotes, or other information about Axioma products and/or services.

Without prejudice to other forms of contact with Axioma, if personal data, considered essential, is not provided, or proves to be insufficient, incorrect or out of date, this may prevent Axioma from considering them for the purposes of sending proposals and/or budgets or other information depending on the applicable situation.

Conservation of Personal Data

The period for which personal data is stored and maintained will vary depending on the above purposes.

Personal data whose purpose is to send service proposals and/or quotes or information relating to new Axioma products and/or services will be stored for a period of 1 (one) year, without prejudice to longer periods being possible whenever the situation justifies.

Rights in relation to Personal Data

The user is guaranteed the right to access, correct, update and delete their personal data.

In any of the cases set out above, the user may exercise their rights by sending a written communication to the email address geral@axioma.com.pt, addressed to the Personal Data Protection Officer.

Security in the Processing of Personal Data

We use a variety of security measures, including encryption and authentication tools, to help protect and maintain the security, integrity and availability of your personal data.

Although data transmissions over the internet or website cannot guarantee complete security against intrusions, violations or other illegal acts, Axioma and its information technology partners make the best efforts to implement and maintain physical and electronic security measures and procedural measures designed to protect your personal data in accordance with the highest applicable data protection requirements.

In this way, Axioma has adopted different security mechanisms and procedures, following the best practices in terms of information security in the systems that support the services it provides and that store personal and procedural data, namely the use of firewalls and security detection systems of intrusions, the existence of restricted access (physical and logical), the recording of operations and respective monitoring and auditing.

Notwithstanding the security measures adopted by Axioma, it is important to highlight and alert users that they must also adopt additional security measures, such as the existence of an active firewall, updated antivirus and antispyware.

Communication of Personal Data to Third Parties

Within the scope of its activity, Axioma may use third parties to provide certain services (located inside or outside the European Union), which may imply, in some situations, access, by such entities, to users’ personal data.

In any situation of access by third parties, Axioma undertakes to take the necessary and appropriate measures, in order to ensure that entities that have access to such personal data, offer high guarantees at this level, which will be duly enshrined and safeguarded in contract and confidentiality agreement to be signed, in writing, between Axioma and the third parties.

Third parties are contractually obliged to observe the duties of confidentiality and secrecy and to ensure the security of personal data that, for this purpose, may be accessed or communicated to them, and may not use such data for any other purposes, for their own benefit or from third parties, nor correlate them with other data that are available.

Right to be Forgotten

The holder of personal data has the right to obtain from the controller the deletion of their personal data, who, in turn, will have the obligation to delete them, whenever one of the following reasons applies: (i) the data is not more necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or processed; (ii) the holder withdraws consent, when consent is the legal basis or the holder opposes the processing and there are no prevailing legitimate interests that justify its maintenance.

Access to Third Party Websites

The privacy policy is not applicable to third party websites. In this case, whenever you visit another website from this one, you should always read the applicable privacy policy and check that you agree with its terms before providing your personal data.

Axioma is not responsible for the applicable privacy policy or the content available on third-party websites.
